Invest in companies that share our philosophy of Head, Heart, and Hands.

Invest in growth-based assets for an absolute return, using a times money and quantum investment principle.

Invest in companies that can be a Platform Asset, which in themselves can be leveraged for a build and buy strategy, with the ability to compete in foreign markets.

Directionally invest in the impact categories of Education, Smart Infrastructure, Renewables, Financial Services and Healthcare.

HANDS

Working hard, getting involved and executing on our mission thoroughly and consistently. This is our life’s work, and we are fully engaged and committed to achieving our goals.

History

In 2007, our director, Dr Taddy Blecher founds the Maharishi Invincibility Institute, a non-profit with the single-minded focus of providing a world-leading, free-access education to previously disadvantaged youth of South Africa.

Between 2007 and 2022, MII goes on to educate over 22,000 graduates with a 95%+ job placement rate adding over R10bn to the SA economy and back into the hands of SA families.

Over this period, MII becomes 75% self-funding through a combination of entrepreneurship, BB-BEE investments, and pay-it-forward initiatives.

From 2013-2022 Darren Kramer, head of ENS M&A and Corporate Finance, works with Dr Blecher to set up these investments and deals to assist with driving the MII vision of becoming a self-sustaining institution of free world-class education for South Africans.

Over this same period, Darren builds his own capital advisory company, CapitalGate, and focusses on building Incubeta into a multi-billion-dollar global platform asset.

In 2022, Darren and his partners exit Incubeta with over 11 times their initial investment.

Dr Blecher and Darren form a joint vision of setting up a dedicated for-profit investment company that is 51% owned by MII to manage MII’s assets as well as external investors and partners’ funds to engage in corporate venturing and private investment activities so that investors can invest and earn a return alongside MII while MII becomes a fully self-sustaining institution that will educate SA’s youth for generations to come.

In 2023, MI Capital is founded, and Yaakov Goldfein joins to help realise the vision.
